Why an independent shop, not the dealer

Dealers are built for warranty work and new-car throughput. Older cars, out-of-warranty cars, and the messy jobs, a timing chain, a slipping transmission, a sagging air strut, an A/C that died in August, often get a replacement quote or a “we don’t take those.” A lot of independent shops will not take them either.

We take those jobs. We diagnose the fault, quote the repair, and fix what is failing instead of defaulting to a whole new unit. You get straight answers, a price before we start, and photos of the new OEM part going in and the old part coming out. That is the point of a specialist shop: the work gets done, and you can see it.

The big jobs

• Engine repair and replacement, oil leaks, timing chains, overheating, turbos, head work, and full engine replacement when that is the honest answer
• Transmission repair and rebuild, rough or delayed shifts, slipping, mechatronics, conductor plates, rebuilds, and unit replacement when a rebuild is not the right call
• A/C and climate repair, no cold air, compressors, leaks, blend-door actuators, and climate modules. In this heat, topping off refrigerant is not a diagnosis.
• Air suspension and chassis, sagging corners, Airmatic, air struts, compressors, valve blocks, control arms, and bushings
• Advanced diagnostics, warning lights, electrical gremlins, no-starts, sensor faults, and pre-purchase inspections. A generic code reader names a symptom. We find the cause.
• Computer programming, coding, module replacement, retrofits, and control-unit work a corner shop cannot touch

The work around those jobs

A European car still needs alignment, brakes, cooling, oil, and tires. We do that here too, with the correct parts and fluids, not a quick-lube shortcut.

• Wheel alignment, four-wheel alignment to spec, with a before-and-after printout
• Brakes, cooling, and major repairs
• Oil change with the correct OEM filter and factory-spec oil
• Transmission service with the correct OEM/ZF fluid
• Tires, including run-flat and staggered setups
• Headlight restoration
• Body and collision repair
